Part 1 of 3

Credit & Micro-Loan Regulations

1.1 Campus Prepaid Credit

The cred-IT account functions as a closed-loop campus prepaid credit system. Balances may be topped up via authorized CICS treasurers, deposit kiosks, or verified campus points of sale.

1.2 Emergency Micro-Loans

Enrolled students in good standing are eligible to apply for emergency micro-loans, within their assigned credit limit, to cover essential printing, department fees, or canteen meals during classes.

1.3 Repayment Periods & Interest

When requesting a loan, students choose an authorized tenure of 1 to 4 calendar days. Micro-loans incur an institutional daily interest rate (currently 100% per day as published by administration). All loan balances and accrued interest must be settled on or before the generated due date.

1.4 Overdue Delinquencies & Account Holds

Failure to settle outstanding balances upon maturity will result in automated suspension of RFID campus charging privileges and hold tags on clearance documents until the balance is fully settled.

1.5 Student Ledger Responsibility

Students are responsible for verifying their transaction logs and remaining balances via the cred-IT dashboard. Failure to receive electronic notifications does not absolve overdue obligations.
